“Our business philosophy? Good service + happy customers = guaranteed growth”
Our approach to 360 product and packshot photography

Get in touch with us by calling 01799 521229 or emailing 360@revolutionphotographic.com. We'll ask you some quick questions to get an overview of your needs before arranging a convenient time to meet you at either of our studios or a location that's convenient for you.
Top tip:
Decide how and where you'd like to use your images and what outcome you woould like before calling us - it will almost certainly be our first question. The more information you can provide us with in that first call, the more accurate the quote we'll be able to supply you.

Keep an open mind when we sit down to discuss your requirements in greater depth. We'll question you further regarding your budget and objectives before going away and preparing a written proposal with full cost estimates.
We may suggest styled photography to match the expectations of your market, or standard packshots to meet the limitations of your budget. Either way, we will always recommend what we think is best for you, simply because we've found that to be the most effective way of keeping our customers happy. Our proposal will usually be dispatched to you within five working days. Any additional changes you may wish to make to the brief can then be discussed and agreed before work starts.
Top tip:
A 'packshot' is a functional, single product image that sits on a plain background. It is our simplest and lowest cost solution. 'Creative photography'; refers to the creation of styled images using props, complex lighting, special backgrounds etc, which naturally requires more creative input and sometimes art direction. Creative photography therefore often involves a higher upfront cost (although arguably often works out more cost-efficient in the long run).

Start sending us your products once logistics and a shoot date have been organised. We will advise you of the approximate timeframe in which we'll expect to complete the work, taking into account any unforeseen circumstances. In the case of creative still life photography we'll then photograph and process your products, sending you low-res 2D images via FTP or email as we shoot (if required). These can then be checked by your art team as we work, ensuring you'll always be happy with the results. 360 degree product photography follows a different process which takes slightly longer, as images have to be processed by our development team.
Top tip:
Every monitor screen is different. Make sure your art team has correctly colour-calibrated monitors. If not, colours may shift and your end-users (customers) may not see a colour-accurate image on their screens. Quality calibrators can be purchased from £130+ from Colour Vision and X-rite. We're happy to offer advice on different makes and models.

Sit back and wait for your images and products to be returned. Once we've finished shooting, and have checked that you're happy with your images, your products will be returned to you via your preferred route (Fed Ex, Royal Mail, courier etc).
Top tip:
We can recommend several excellent local courier firms. We also recommend returning products from our studio direct to your distributors, thereby reducing both your costs and your carbon footprint.

Enjoy peace of mind with our safe storage facility. All images are automatically archived by us (retrieval fees may apply). After a quick call to check that you're happy with both our work and the service you have received we'll issue you with an invoice and (upon payment) a licence to use the images. We then offer a follow up meeting around 6 weeks after sign off to ensure everything is running tickety-boo and to get your valuable feedback. Perfect!
Top tip:
When archiving your own copies of all images make sure that it is in a dust-free, medium humidity (25-65%) environment. This will reduce the degradation period for DVDs and ultimately save you money.
